Program Overview

The AeroSur Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) programme is a comprehensive professional pilot training course that transforms private pilots into highly skilled commercial aviators. Building upon the knowledge and experience gained during Private Pilot training, students receive advanced instruction in commercial flight operations, aviation law, advanced aerodynamics, aircraft performance, flight planning, aviation meteorology, human factors, navigation, operational procedures, and aviation safety. Practical flight training focuses on precision aircraft handling, advanced manoeuvres, cross-country navigation, commercial flight operations, abnormal and emergency procedures, night flying, and professional decision-making. Students are trained to operate with the confidence, discipline, and situational awareness expected of commercial pilots while developing the leadership and professionalism required within the aviation industry. Graduates of the programme meet the flight training requirements to obtain a Commercial Pilot Licence, providing the qualifications needed to pursue employment opportunities in commercial aviation and continue towards their airline career pathways.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older by the completion of the course.

Have successfully completed 12th Grade (Higher Secondary Education) or an equivalent qualification.

Hold a valid Private Pilot Licence (PPL).

Possess, or be eligible to obtain, a valid DINACIA Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate.

International applicants must hold a valid passport and be eligible to obtain a Uruguayan Student Visa or other appropriate training authorization, unless they hold legal residency in Uruguay.

⚫ Build the qualifications required for Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), airline pilot training, and a wide range of professional aviation careers.
