The Multi-Engine Rating (ME) programme at AeroSur is designed for licensed pilots seeking to operate multi-engine aircraft safely, efficiently, and professionally. As an essential qualification for most commercial aviation careers, this advanced flight training programme develops the technical knowledge, aircraft handling skills, and operational proficiency required to manage the increased performance and complexity of twin-engine aircraft.
Conducted in accordance with DINACIA and ICAO standards, the programme prepares pilots for commercial operations, airline training, corporate aviation, and advanced flight instructor qualifications.
Program Overview
The AeroSur Multi-Engine Rating (ME) programme provides comprehensive ground and flight training focused on the safe operation of multi-engine aircraft in both normal and abnormal flight conditions. Students receive in-depth instruction on multi-engine aerodynamics, aircraft systems, performance planning, weight and balance, engine management, asymmetric flight, engine failure recognition and recovery, emergency procedures, and operational decision-making.
Practical flight training emphasizes precision aircraft control, single-engine operations, emergency manoeuvres, performance optimization, advanced navigation, and professional cockpit procedures. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students develop the confidence and competence required to safely manage twin-engine aircraft while applying sound aeronautical decision-making and effective risk management techniques.
Upon successful completion, graduates are qualified to operate multi-engine aircraft and are better prepared for commercial aviation, airline pilot training, charter operations, corporate flying, and advanced instructor certifications.
