AeroSur

The Private Pilot Licence (PPL) – Part 141 programme at AeroSur is a structured, FAA-approved flight training programme designed for aspiring pilots seeking a disciplined and professional pathway into aviation.

Built around an approved training syllabus with clearly defined learning objectives, stage checks, and continuous instructor oversight, the programme ensures students receive consistent, high-quality flight and ground instruction.

Delivered in English for international students and supported by experienced instructors, modern training aircraft, and Uruguay's excellent year-round flying conditions, the programme equips students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to safely operate single-engine aircraft while establishing the ideal foundation for advanced pilot training and a future career in aviation.

Program Overview

The AeroSur PPL Part 141 programme combines structured classroom instruction with practical flight training to develop competent, safety-focused pilots. Students follow a comprehensive FAA-approved curriculum covering aerodynamics, aircraft systems, aviation regulations, meteorology, navigation, flight planning, human performance, radio communications, aviation safety, and operational procedures. Throughout the programme, students progress through scheduled flight lessons, stage checks, solo flights, and cross-country operations under the guidance of qualified flight instructors. The structured nature of Part 141 training promotes consistency, accountability, and measurable progress, making it an excellent choice for students planning to continue towards an Instrument Rating (IR), Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Multi-Engine Rating (ME), or a professional airline pilot career. Upon successful completion, graduates possess the theoretical knowledge, practical flying skills, and professional discipline required to safely exercise the privileges of a Private Pilot Licence while preparing for advanced aviation training.
